The recommended hotels are situated within a short walking distance from the conference venue. You may, of course, rely on your own instincts and experience in making reservations on your own. However, we do advise you to use the services offered by Jagiellonian University, as they have already negotiated good prices for SEFS4 participants (about 15-20% lower than available to individuals) and they will respect your individual requirements. If you take this option, please be sure to make your reservation no later than 31st July, 2005. Note that since 1st July, 2004, all visitors to Krakow have to pay city tax 1.60 PLN/person/day (ca. 0.40 EURO). It is paid separately at the hotel reception.

Below you will find some useful hints on accommodation. All hotel and dorm prices are given in EURO. Please note that prices in PLN are available at Jagiellonian University, Office for Academic Events and Conferences. If the EURO/PLN exchange rate changes by more than 10%, hotel prices will change accordingly.
